American Convention on Human Rights

The Organization of American States (OAS) is an international organization with member states from the Americas. The American Convention on Human Rights came into force on 18 July 1978.

Rapporteurship on the Rights of the Child

The Office of the Rapporteur on the Rights of the Child of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights has a mandate to promote the human rights of children and adolescents within the OAS member states.

The website for the Rapporteurship on the Rights of the Child provides access to reports on petitions and cases from the IACHR and judgments from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights pertaining to the rights of the child.
