Overview

In addition to supporting the research and educational information needs of students at Northwestern Law, the library offers many other services:

  • Study space across three floors. The library's fourth floor is dedicated quiet space.
  • Many of Northwestern Law's study rooms are located in the library. Students working in groups of two or more can make reservations using Northwestern Law's Student Study Room Reservation System.
  • In addition to its other collections, the library has an extensive reserve collection housed behind the circulation/reference desk, including:
    • equipment such as phone and laptop chargers, lamps, power strips, and HDMI cables
    • a collection of study aids featuring many Examples & Explanations, Hornbooks and Nutshell titles
    • course reserve materials available to check out
    • many exams from Northwestern Law courses 
  • Northwestern Law's six student-run journals receive support from the library.
  • Book lockers in the library are available for reservation. 
  • There are also printers, copiers, and scanners in the library.
