Students

Library book lockers are available to Northwestern law students on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to high demand and limited availability, each locker is reassigned annually.

Sign up for lockers will open during the first week of classes. Each student is responsible for cleaning out his or her library locker at the end of the academic year. Lockers are cleared out in early to mid-August each year by library staff.

  • All library materials must be checked out at the Circulation Desk before they can be stored in lockers.
  • To prevent insects and other pests, no food may be stored in lockers.
  • Library staff will periodically check lockers and remove any uncharged library materials or food.
  • The Library is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Please lock lockers and keep combinations confidential.
  • Lockers must be emptied and all library materials returned to the Circulation Desk at the end of each school year.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Circulation Desk at 312-503-8451 or lawcirculation@law.northwestern.edu.

Request a Library Locker: https://www.law.northwestern.edu/library/private/booklockers/ (this link will go live on Wednesday, August 28, at noon).

Note for any difficulties logging in: Some students experience trouble logging on to the law school server to request a library locker and you may need to reset your password. Please log on to northwestern.edu/login to change your password. If you continue to have problems, try clearing your browsers cache or using a different browser to request a library locker.
