The UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts consist of a set of rules intended to harmonize the international law of commercial contracts. The UNIDROIT Principles were first released in 1994, followed by newer editions released in 2004, 2010, and 2016.
Use the UNIDROIT Principles to assist with interpreting and filling in gaps in the CISG.
