All content is compiled from publicly available documents that report on aspects of country conditions that have relevance in removal hearings before Immigration Judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

The annual Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, also known as the Human Rights Reports, cover internationally recognized individual, civil, political, and worker rights, as set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international agreements.

The IRB of Canada compiles information on country conditions. They create "National Documentation Packages," which list public documents about various country's current conditions, and "Responses to Information Requests" on a country's conditions as requested by their immigration decision makers. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Collection of documents comes from a variety of sources such as the UN, NGOs, governments, IGOs, and other organizations such as news agencies monitoring and reporting on country conditions. Click the "Country" tab then select from the list. Then click the "Publisher" or "Type" tab to choose from items like annual reports, country profiles, country reports, regional reports, research, background and discussion papers, and statistics.

Amnesty International is an international non-governmental organization focused on human rights around the world and headquartered in the United Kingdom. They produce an annual report on the state of human rights in over 150 countries. Access news, blogs, research, and reports from their work in an online library. Select a country from the list to get started.

Human Rights Watch. HRW is an international IGO based in New York City that conducts research and advocacy on human rights, often producing reports, news releases, and statements to governments and entities like the UN. Click "Countries" then select from the list of regions and countries.

Amera International. This UK non-profit supports pro bono legal aid to refugees by maintaining a directory of experts who can testify about country conditions for free or reduced fee. They also have a list of resources for researching country of origin information and legal aid organizations. Click "Visit our COI Database" to get started.

Collection of narrative foreign (i.e. domestic legal systems and laws of countries other than the United States), international, and comparative law research guides. Indicates sources of law and English translations when available. Click "Foreign Law Research" then choose country from alphabetical list. Note there may be an updated or archived version.

Case Law includes national and international jurisprudential decisions. Administrative bodies and tribunals are included.
