Government Structure

The 1992 Constitution declared Ghana as a unitary republic with sovereignty. Ghana has a multiparty constitutional democracy. The main arms of government consist of the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary. 

Languages and Ethnic Groups

As a result of British colonialism, the official language of Ghana is English. However, there are many ethnic groups and languages spoken within Ghana.
