Canvas has a function called Immersive Reader, which allows students to change font size, text spacing, and background color; choose between two fonts; read text aloud and change the speed of reading; and highlight sets of one, three, or five lines. You can access Immersive Reader on the top right of Canvas class pages.
Additionally, Northwestern professors are encouraged to complete the Canvas Accessibility Challenge to improve accessibility on their course Canvas pages.
