Docket Research

Bloomberg Law is a go-to resource for locating dockets and filings for federal cases.  Westlaw Edge, Lexis Advance CourtLink, and Lexis Advance Dockets each provide excellent docket coverage, as well, but underlying court filings are rarely available.

To locate state court dockets, all four of these resources are useful.  However, generally speaking, they do not provide access to the underlying filings.  If these sites do not provide the information you need, you may want to try visiting the court website or contacting the court clerk's office.
