After you have selected a topic and have confirmed that your topic has not been preempted, consider setting up alerts to automatically be notified of recent developments and new publications on your topic. 

To create a Lexis Alert, select the bell icon at the top of the screen after conducting a search. A pop-up screen will appear and allow you to customize your alert further and set delivery preferences. 

To create a WestClip Alert, select the bell icon to access the "Create WestClip Alert" link after conducting a search. A WestClip Alert pop-up box will appear and allow you to customize your alert further and set delivery preferences.
